Antique Victorian 15ct Gold Seed Pearl Buckle Pendant Brooch Necklace - c.1890

We are delighted to offer this lovely antique 15ct gold buckle-shaped pendant/brooch made in the Victorian era c.1890.Distinguished in style, this pendant has a lovely Victorian flair with a novelty design of a buckle. 

The gold setting has been wonderfully crafted and very intricately decorated with seed pearls, all sitting in a very fine gold mount. The pendant features a bale, which allows this to be worn as a necklace or, by using the pin at the back, as a brooch.  Overall, a superb and versatile piece of Victorian jewellery with all the finest elements of intricacy and design in a compact form factor. A wonderful gift to a loved one or as an indulgent present to yourself - a versatile and stylish piece of antique to wear bound to be a conversation starter for the keen-eyed. Pearl is known to be the birthstone for June.

The pendant is unmarked as is common with such articles of the Victorian period and as such we have fully tested for 15ct gold.

All of our jewellery comes with a complimentary hard shell gift box with a velvet interior.

Condition: Good antique condition with no major issues/damage. The top bail appears to have some old solder as shown in the photographs.
