We are delighted to offer this enchanting antique Edwardian Art Nouveau pendant/brooch necklace made c.1905.
The goldwork is simply wonderful on this particular piece: it is crafted with a combination of naturalistic art nouveau scrolled foliate motifs and a fan-like section at the top which appears to be possibly an influence of Japonisme/Japonaiserie.
Distinctly Edwardian and distinguished from contemporary pieces, this pendant makes for a wonderful addition to any antique jewellery lover's collection and a conversation starter upon wearing.
Owing to its bail and pin on the reverse side, it can be worn practically both as a brooch or a necklace and its alluring colour is a wonderful accent to any outfit.
Amethyst is known to be the birthstone for February and Pearls, June.
The pendant is marked 15ct on the reverse side.
Ready to wear out of the box: All of our pendants also include the photographed thinner complimentary 9ct solid gold (modern) chain so that you can enjoy your newly acquired treasure straight out of the box.
All of our jewellery comes with a complimentary hard shell gift box with a velvet interior.
