Description and Details
We are delighted to offer this splendid Victorian solid silver goblet made by silversmith Richards & Brown of London in 1869.
The exterior features a draped half-wreath of finely chased flowers and leaves that are tied in the middle with a ribbon. Furthermore, multiple acanthus leaves stem from beneath, encompassing the bottom section of the goblet.
The bowl of the goblet is supported by a thin yet solid stem and widened foot which provides stability when held in hand and also upon resting on top of a table with no wobble.
The foot features a continued floral chased motif with a beaded border on the bezel.
Full set of English hallmarks are marked on the side of the goblet with slight wear.
