We are delighted to offer this solid sterling silver dish/tray made by silversmith Henry Thomas Bishton of Birmingham in 1907.
The dish features a distinct Art Nouveau design, contemporary to its age of manufacture with a heavily decorated floral font with curved stems and leaves encompassing the outer portion of the dish.
The shape of the dish is additionally embellished with an oval geometry and some finer curves and points towards the edges.
Whether be it for solely display, collection or for practical usage the large and ornate dish allows for an ideal addition to a wonderful home interior. The large size allows for much use even in the present day with consumables such as sweets, fruits, bread, etc.
A full set of English hallmarks are clearly marked on the bottom front of this dish.
A wonderfully decorative and aesthetic large piece of silverware with intricately embellished decorations, ideal for Art Nouveau themes and collectors.
