We are delighted to offer this charming pair of French solid silver salt cellars made in Paris c.1890 by Louis Coignet.
The pair feature a hollow oval form with glass liners and matching salt spoons. The exterior is beautifully adorned with a beaded border, a boiserie-style frame and an anthemion accent in the centre.
The salts and spoons are marked with French hallmarks, Minerva and Maker's mark LC for Louis Coignet.

Condition
Good Condition - The pair is in overall good antique condition, with no major damage or issues. There are some areas of gilding loss on the interior and on the reverse side of the spoons. One small chip on one glass liner and a slight misshaping to the base of the silver mounts.
