We are delighted to offer this sterling silver blue guilloche clock which is an Edwardian era, London import antique, The clock is crafted with precise and intricate enamelling - an unquestionably a captivating little beauty. The front features minimalistic cream dial with Arabic numerals in encompassed by a blue guilloche enamel. The rear is equally matched with further guilloche work. An additionally noteworthy feature is the fine engine turning underneath the enamel - unlike regular one pattern machine turning, this clock features multiple motifs and angular patterns in the guilloche work.
The clock can be adjusted by turning the onion-shaped crown at the 12 o'clock position whilst pressing down on the small button at the 1 o'clock position. The crown is also the winding mechanism of the watch - however, the watch does not function and cannot be used as a timekeeping device (it sometimes ticks but soon stops).
A great little addition to a personal collection or for use as an ornamental dress piece on a special occasion - a captivating antique item bound to capture the interest of people and a conversation starter.

Great Condition – Please note that this item is antique and the clock mechanism is not functional. There are very slight signs of wear and one area (2 o'clock) on the dial where a small blemish is present. Please refer to the photographs for further details on the condition of the item.
